Paula Scher is one of the most acclaimed graphic designers in the world.
She has been a principal in the New York office of the distinguished international design consultancy Pentagram since 1991, where she has designed identity systems, environmental graphics, packaging and publications for a wide range of clients that includes, among others, the Public Theater, the Museum of Modern Art, the High Line, the Metropolitan Opera, Tiffany & Co., Citibank and Microsoft. Scher has been the recipient of hundreds of industry honors including the National Design Award and the AIGA medal. She is an established artist exhibiting worldwide, and her designs are in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art, the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum, the Library of Congress, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and other institutions. A documentary on Scher and her work can be seen in the Netflix series “Abstract: The Art of Design.”

Mark Bohle is a graphic designer from Germany, well-known for his experimental posters and innovative collaborations.
He studied at the State Academy of Art and Design Stuttgart before moving to Barcelona, where he has been working for Javiér Jaén and Martí Guixé. As freelance designer Mark works in a variety of economic fields seeking to create aesthetical surroundings and coherent typographic expression. His work has been awarded with several international awards.

Zipeng Zhu is a Chinese-born artist, designer, art director, illustrator, and animator in New York City who wants to make every day a razzle-dazzle musical.

Studio YUKIKO is a Berlin-based creative agency specialising in creative direction, art direction, brand strategy, concept generation and graphic design for commercial and cultural clients alike.

YUKIKO are also Art Directors and part of the founding team of Flaneur and Sofa Magazine. Chanaradee Chatrakul Na Ayudhya started her artist career as Juli Baker and Summer in 2015.
Inspired by music, literature, films, everyday conversations and her trips around the world, Juli’s joyous work depicts inspirational moments of life, fusing personal memories, pop culture reference, childlike imagination and her interest in gender equality issues. Perpetual sunshine, semi-abstract tropical plants, fruity palette, and protagonists posing with effortless comfort, Juli’s painted world has a certain utopian quality which echos her cheerful spirit.Currently living and working in Bangkok, as a Thai citizen, she’s in the middle of ongoing political protests, taking on her role as an artist, actively spreading messages to support the pro-democracy movement.

Emily Oberman is a multidisciplinary designer whose work encompasses brand identity, motion graphics, publications, packaging, advertising, and websites.
A native of Yonkers, New York, Emily studied design and filmmaking at the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. After graduation she joined the legendary design studio M&Co., collaborating with Tibor Kalman on work for Knoll, Wieden & Kennedy, (the much-missed) Restaurant Florent, and Talking Heads, for whom they made the award-winning music video for for “(Nothing But) Flowers.” With Kalman as creative director, Emily was the original designer for the launch of Benetton’s critically acclaimed magazine, Colors. Emily cofounded the design studio Number Seventeen in 1993, which operated for (coincidentally, perhaps) 17 years. She joined Pentagram’s New York office as partner in 2012. Everyday Practice is a graphic studio founded by Kwon Joonho, Kim Kyung-chul, and Kim Eojin, and also a small community of designers thinking about the role of design in the real world.
Although we are based in graphic design, we do not restrict ourselves to two-dimensional design. We are constantly experimenting with various design methods, and trying to apply our lessons in future works.
Kwon Joonho (Everyday Practice, Seoul) He studied Visual Communication at the Royal College of Arts and taught graphic design at the Royal College of Arts for the following year. In 2011, his graduation work 〈Life〉 was selected as the UK Creative Review’s “The Annual 2011”. In 2012, he was selected as the “Rising Star” by British Design Week and was selected as the 20 artists of “New Sensation” by Saatchi Gallery. After working as a graphic designer at London based Jonathan Barnbrook Studios and Why Not Associates, he has been running the design studio Everyday Practice since 2013. He became an AGI member in 2017 and worked with colleagues on various projects.

Ines alpha is a 3D artist based in Paris who creates enchanted and fantastic versions of reality.
She started experimenting with 3D while working as an art director in advertising, specialised in beauty and luxury. Her first notable 3D work was the “Baby F-16″ videoclip, an AR experiment she directed with Panteros666. Her main body of work consists in the “3D makeup” series, where she pushes further the boundaries of makeup and beauty using 3D softwares and augmented reality. She tries to fantasise what complete aesthetic freedom of one’s appearance would look like. Her goal is to encourage a fun and creative approach to make up and self expression.

Jessica Hische is a lettering artist, illustrator, author, and self-described “avid internetter” working in Oakland, California.
After graduating with a degree in Graphic and Interactive Design from Tyler School of Art (Temple University) in 2006, she worked for Headcase Design in Philadelphia before taking a position as Senior Designer at Louise Fili Ltd. In 2009, after two and a half years, Jessica left to further her freelance career and embark on several fun personal projects. Jessica began Daily Drop Cap, a project in which every day she created a new illustrative letter, working through the alphabet a total of twelve times. The popularity of Daily Drop Cap really kickstarted her career as a letterer, and has inspired many other designers to start daily lettering projects. Daily Drop Cap concluded in 2011, but you can find the letters in all sorts of places, from postcard sets to iPhone cases.
Jessica is actively involved in the design, illustration, and type communities (serving on the Type Directors Club board from 2012 to 2015) and is a prolific public speaker, appearing at colleges and conferences worldwide.
Jessica’s clients includes Wes Anderson, The United States Postal Service, Tiffany & Co., The New York Times, Penguin Books, Target, Starbucks, American Express, and Wired Magazine. She has also released several commercial typefaces which are available in her store. Jessica has been named a Print Magazine New Visual Artist (20 under 30), one of Forbes 30 under 30 in Art and Design, an ADC Young Gun, a “Person to Watch” by GD USA, and an Adweek “Creative 100”. She’s been personally profiled in many magazines including Eye Magazine (UK), Communication Arts, Grafik Magazine (UK), and Novum Magazine (Germany). She is the author of two best-selling children’s books and “In Progress”—in which she details her creative process.

Stephanie Specht is a graphic designer from Antwerp.
Having lived and worked pretty much everywhere in her 16-year career (Cape Town, Brussels, Princeton, New York, Antwerp), every single one of these experiences shaped her as a creative person. Aside from all client jobs, she also works on many personal projects and creates all visual communication for the Royal Academy for Fine Arts in Antwerp.

Eric Hu is a multidisciplinary creative director and typographer based in New York City.
His practice has an international reputation for pairing maximalist image-making with typographic nuance for a variety of clients operating in fashion, music, architecture, and technology. He is also a co-creative director for Mold Magazine, a publication about the future and science of food. Previously Eric was Global Design Director at Nike Sportswear and the Director of Design at SSENSE where he formed its inaugural design team.

Daan Rietbergen is an independent graphic designer and artist specialising in typography, visual identity and poster design, based in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
From 2014 to 2019 he worked as a visual designer at Studio Dumbar, Rotterdam. His work is based on grids and systems and in his typographic projects the rules he imposes on himself sometimes outweigh the legibility. He sees letters almost as living characters that form one family, but also have the power to stand on their own. His typographic characters often appear in public space where they come to life even more.

Folch is a Narrative Business Design Studio based in Barcelona, Spain.
We design concepts, brands, narratives and digital events, reaching & engaging audiences on a new paradigm.
We build our projects through the concepts of Business Design, Liquid Branding and Brand Narratives.
Speaking from Folch is Nicolás, who did a major on communication design and a minor on illustration, both at Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Last year he moved to Barcelona to do a Masters Degree in Graphic Design at ELISAVA. He is deeply interested in visual research and the role of design in creating communities in the online and offline world, as well as analyzing the cultural shifts in society and its influence.
