This year’s International Assembly is an unmissable week-long event in Glasgow which kicks off with our all-day creative conference with some of the most exciting thinkers and makers in art, design, branding, illustration, animation, art, advertising and beyond.

Liza Enebeis (Studio Dumbar/DEPT®) Netherlands
Liza is Partner and Creative Director at Studio Dumbar/DEPT®, an international agency with a Dutch heritage, specialising in visual branding and motion. Liza is directly involved with all main projects such as the visual identity for Amsterdam Sinfonietta, D&AD Creativity festival, brand refresh of the van Gogh Museum and co-initiator of DEMO - Design in Motion Festival.
Eric Hu USA
Eric Hu studio is the creative consultancy and design practice of New York art director Eric Hu. The studio has an international reputation producing striking visual identities and imagery for clients operating in fashion, music, architecture, and technology. Previously Eric Hu was Global Design Director at Nike on the Sportswear Brand Design team and Director of Design at SSENSE.
Metahaven Netherlands
Metahaven is a research and design studio based in Amsterdam. The studio's work spans art, design, writing, publishing, curation, filmmaking, installation. At the heart is a research-focused approach exploring politics, culture and current affairs,
Mitch Paone (DIA) USA/Switzerland
DIA is a branding and graphic design studio specializing in kinetic identities and typographic systems. Headquartered in NYC and Geneva, Switzerland, we’ve developed a new approach to designing identity systems where motion is foundational and creative tools always accompany brand guidelines. Our generative tools and autonomous design systems empower internal teams and simplify oversight.
Angela Kirkwood Scotland
Angela Kirkwood (she/her) is an illustrator and animator interested in experimenting with the endless possibilities of animation. She enjoys creating weird and wonderful topsy-turvy worlds filled with expressive characters, that inspire joy in the people that view them.
Joseph Lebus (PORTO ROCHA) UK/USA
Joseph is a London-based multi-faceted designer and art director whose work revolves around concept-driven design that aims to be both emotionally engaging and exquisitely crafted. His work encompasses brand identity, editorial, packaging, moving image and wayfinding, and often expresses a strong typographic sensibility. Working as a Design Lead at PORTO ROCHA, Joseph has worked on identities for a range of clients, including Nike, PAC NYC, Vevo, W Hotels and Upwork.
Connor Campbell (CC Studio) UK
Connor Campbell is a Scottish motion generalist based in London and creative director of experimental motion design practice CC Studio, working working across brand identity systems, music videos and typography in motion for clients like Warp Records, Apple and Sundance Film Festival.
Marina Willer (Pentagram) UK
Marina Willer is a graphic designer, filmmaker and partner at Pentagram. Previously Marina was head creative director for Wolff Olins in London. Consistently recognised as a leading figure in UK design, Willer has been the recipient of many industry honours including Creative Review’s Creative Leaders 2017. In 2018 she was inducted into Design Week’s Hall of Fame, and in 2021 she was honoured with the title Royal Designer for Industry (RDI) by the Royal Society of Arts.
Abb-d Taiyo (Driftime®/Readymag) UK
Abb-d Taiyo, Co-founder of Driftime®, will be speaking on behalf of our partner, Readymag. Driftime® are a global design and impact agency approaching the complex challenges of today with progressive brands and businesses to design an impact-driven digital future. They have been using Readymag since 2015 to create a variety of digital projects.

Location

This years conference will take place in Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall in their spacious and comfortably-seated auditorium. Connected to the auditorium is an all-day bar and festival marketplace where you can explore pop-up stores, connect with our partners and socialise.
