About Liebermann Kiepe Reddemann
The Hamburg based graphic design studio Liebermann Kiepe Reddemann focuses on digital technologies.
David Liebermann and Jana Reddemann are master graduates of the Graphic Arts class at the HFBK Hamburg, Maximilian Kiepe is a master graduate of the Digital Media major at the HFK Bremen. Influenced by their artistic training, they operate at the interface of art, design and technology. In the process, the possibilities and conventions of the field are explored, received and expanded. The concepts created by this approach characterize not only function, but also zeitgeist and the joy of interaction.
In addition to their practical work, they are also active in teaching. They have taught at the HGB Leipzig, Burg Giebichenstein Halle, CAA Shanghai, HS Mainz, HFBK Hamburg and HFK Bremen.
Workshop Information
Digital screens have become an inevitable part of our everyday lives – from our own devices to the electronic billboard that are plastered all over the cities – and social media platforms have embraced video content and animated images.
Designers now have the possibility to create animated posters which include a dynamic dimension. If the posters are coded, they don’t just move but can even be interacted with.
In the workshop, Liebermann Kiepe Reddemann would like to give an introduction to coding by creating interactive posters based on simple html tags. Participants will then work on their own coded web poster.
All levels and backgrounds are welcome. Though if you have no prior experience with HTML and CSS, we would recommend you to do the following classes on Codecademy before the workshop starts:
